| 2006 Allen Medal Freshman Mathematics Competition | Thursday, March 16, 2006 |
| The Allen Medal Competition is open to all University of Tennessee freshmen affiliated with the Knoxville campus, and will be held from 5:30pm to 6:30pm on Thursday, March 16, in Ayres Hall. The competition consists of a list of problems that require at most a knowledge of first-year calculus. The top two scorers will receive cash prizes, and in addition the top scorer will receive a gold medal. To sign up, please see Jane Parker in Ayres 121. | |
