Lecture 1
GO TO:
Before the Lecture
- Carefully read our Course Web
Site.
- Check the course areas
in Blackboard. Please
subscribe to all Forums: Course Structure, Math Related,
Computer Related and Feedback.
- Read the Introduction from our textbook. Read it briefly!
Don't get too caught up, after all, this is just an introduction.
(Note: Look at the section Outcomes
to see what you are expected to get from the reading, perhaps after
some in class help.)
- Write down all questions about the above topics to bring to our
(online) lecture.
- Check if you are prepared for our lecture with Blackboard
Collaborate.
- Work on problems 4 and 6 (from the Introduction). You don't need
to necessarily finish, but try to work on as many as you can and the
bring your questions to class.
- Optional: Post an introduction
on Blackboard.
