We both grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest in Vancouver, Washington. After graduating from the University of Washington, we headed to the midwest where Tim went to graduate school at Northwestern. During Tim's post-doc years we lived in NYC and Cambridge, UK.
    
In 1999 we made Knoxville, Tennessee our home, and enjoy the scenic beauty and activities this area offers. Tim is a mathematics professor at the University of Tennessee, and Carmine is a web designer. Things we enjoy include hiking, poker, ping-pong, reading, movies, and music.
