We both grew up in the Pacific Northwest near Portland. After graduating from the University of Washington we headed to Chicago, where Tim went to graduate school at Northwestern. During Tim's post-doc years we lived in New York City and Cambridge, UK. We now reside in Knoxville, and enjoy the scenic beauty this area offers. Tim is a mathematics professor at the University of Tennessee, and Carmine designs websites. We enjoy hiking, poker, travel, reading, music, and movies.
