Grants

In my career I have received over $1.5 Million in external funding, approximately equal to my University of Tennessee salary earnings for my entire career. Almost none of that external funding was paid to me (6 months of summer salary), much of it went to support students, and almost all of it boosted the local economy. I have been awarded an individual NSF research grant, two grants for student scholarships, one grant for an undergraduate research program (REU), and several conference grants.
